Oh Christmas Tree!

We decorated the Christmas tree last night. My favorite part is opening the box of all the crafty ornaments the kids have made. They just love going through the box as much as I do. The ornaments are silly and messy and adorable. Sort of like the kids. Of course, they separated them into piles as to who made what and then Jayden was a little bit sad because he did not have as much. I told him we would make 5 more together this year (because that is his favorite number) and then he was happy again. All 5 of us had a great time hanging ornaments and decorating the house.



We ran out of hooks so Jason went to Walgreens so we could continue. By the time he got back it was like a different set of kids. All of a sudden, Zachary ran away and came back with a bowl. He looked at me and said his tummy hurt. Before he could get the words out all the way, he threw up right into the bowl. It is a bit strange, but all I could think of in my mind was how proud I was of him that he went to get a bowl to throw up in. While I was cleaning up Zachary, Jayden decided he wanted Spaghetti O's and had a big melt down because I said no, he can't have Spaghetti O's at 9 at night and he should have ate his dinner. Jason got home, I told him I was so proud of Zachary for getting a bowl to throw up in and strangely enough he felt the same way. Then I made Spaghetti O's for Jayden.
